  10. ‚Ä¢ These are the most useful and commonly used AI shortcuts.
  11. ‚Ä¢ While a tool is active...
  12. ‚Ä¢ ... holding down the Command key changes the pen to the selection tool.
  13. ‚Ä¢ This allows you to adjust points, curves, and direction points while you are drawing the path, without requiring you to go to the toolbox.
  14. ‚Ä¢ ...holding down the space bar gives you the Hand tool for scrolling.
  15. ‚Ä¢ ...holding the command key and space bar gives you the zoom-in tool.
  16. ‚Ä¢ ...holding the command, option, and space bar gives you the zoom-out tool.
  17. ‚Ä¢ After releasing these keys, you return to using the currently selected tool. This saves time when adjusting your illustration, rather than having to return to the tool bar each time.
